Caliente Pottery by Haldeman
This is the first of many photos that I will add to this blog of Caliente Pottery pieces made in Southern California between 1933 and 1953 by Virgil K. Haldeman. During a 2006 meeting with Wilbur Held, he pointed out to me that it would be a delight if his catalog could be pictured in full color. We spoke about the ability to place his catalog along with color pictures on the internet for all to see. With his permission, this blog is an attempt to bring Wilbur's desire to life. Since I do not have as many Caliente Pottery pieces as Wilbur had, I am willing to post any color pictures readers of this blog may want to submit. JPGs may be submitted by email to me at mcollett@dslextreme.com for inclusion. As I add photos and other items of interest, please feel free to leave comments about improving this blog.
